Judson Williamson spent his first eighteen years in Whiteville, NC before matriculating to Chapel Hill as a freshman at UNC, and he loved it so much he never left. He married Chapel Hill native Susie Cross, and they have two boys attending school in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools system. After graduating from UNC with degrees in Communication Studies and Folklore, he worked at UNC, first in finance administration in the Purchasing Department and then in development at the School of Dentistry, before returning to study at the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Upon receiving his J.D. and being admitted to the NC State Bar, Judd worked as an associate at a family law firm before going out on his own under his own name, primarily handling family law cases and serving as a Guardian ad Litem attorney for cases in Orange and Chatham Counties.
He formed Milestones Law in late 2018 and added real estate services with the intention of creating a firm to which people can return for all of life’s major moments.
When he’s not in the office, Judd enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing with his kiddos, and traveling with his family. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Chapel Hill Public Library and the Development Committee of the North Carolina Bar Foundation.
